Sydney Novak, PT, DPT
Sydney was born in Michigan and moved to Brevard County at the age of four. Her interest in physical therapy began when she was treated by PT Professionals in high school after obtaining a sports injury. Through physical therapy treatment, she was able to recover and thrive in the sport of rowing, which was her passion.
Sydney attended the University of Wisconsin (UW) where she was a member of the women’s rowing team. She graduated from UW with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and certificate in leadership. She performed her postgraduate studies at the University of St. Augustine, where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. She has had internships treating orthopedic and pediatric conditions. Throughout these experiences, she treated post-operative conditions, sports injuries, and balance impairments. In the future, she hopes to obtain her certification in manual therapy and dry needling.
Living an active lifestyle has always been important to Sydney. She loves anything outdoors, including going to the beach, biking, and kayaking. She is also coaching a high school rowing team. She enjoys running and has completed two marathons.
