Krissaley Blair, PT, DPT
Krissaley joined the PT Professionals team in July 2022 and has been practicing as a physical therapist since July 2019. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in 2014 (Go Gators!) and graduated with high honors in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. Krissaley then attended the University of St. Augustine (USAHS) in Miami, FL as part of the inaugural class to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and graduated with high honors. She is currently trying to advance her clinical training by obtaining a Manual Therapy Certification from the USAHS.
Krissaley has past experience working in orthopedics specializing in manual therapy as well as pelvic health therapy. She also has had prior acute care and inpatient rehabilitation experience through the University of Florida Shands Rehabilitation Hospital with ability to treat a broad range of diagnoses within neurological, cardiac, orthopedic, and complex cases.
Krissaley calls herself a “military brat” and grew up in Japan for 17 years. Her father was in the Air Force and was stationed three times in a row in Japan. Coming from a strong Military background, she always wanted to work in a facility that supports Military personnel to give back to those that serve(d) our country, and found PT Professionals a good fit with a high patient volume of Veterans. She hsa seen many injuries through her lifetime and also sustained her own injuries playing high school sports of cross country, track and field, and soccer which sparked her interest in physical therapy.
Krissaley continues to have an active lifestyle by staying in shape with Crossfit and Salsa dancing on her free time. She also enjoys going to the beach as well as cheering on her Florida Gators during college football season.
