Dr. Jan Rodriguez PT, DPT

Born in Puerto Rico and raised in a military family, Jan grew up moving across the United States and spent his high school years in Seoul, South Korea. These experiences shaped his adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and ease in connecting with patients from all backgrounds.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in mathematics from Clarks Summit University, where he played collegiate soccer. It was on the field—rehabbing his own setbacks alongside teammates under the guidance of the team physical therapist—that he first discovered his passion for restoring movement and function.

Pursuing that calling, he graduated with honors from the University of South Florida’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in May 2024. During PT school, he continued competing at a high level, playing semi-professionally in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL), which deepened his love for athlete care and performance-based rehabilitation.

His first role after graduation was in outpatient pediatrics, where he treated infants with torticollis, children with developmental delays, and older kids managing neurological conditions like cerebral palsy. This work solidified another core passion: helping young patients unlock their potential and live active, joyful lives. Now focused on outpatient orthopedics, he brings the same energy and expertise to adult patients.

Beyond the clinic, he’s a devoted husband and father who treasures time with his wife and son. You’ll often find them at the beach, playing pickleball, or kicking a soccer ball—embracing the active lifestyle he’s committed to helping his patients achieve.
