Andrew Griffith, PT, DPT
Andrew joined the PT Professionals team in 2020. Andrew was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. After high school, he attended The University of Buffalo where he received a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science, as well as his Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Andrew decided to start his therapy career working as a travel therapist. He was able to gain experience working in various therapy settings which included Nursing Homes, Intensive Rehab, hospital ICU’s and out-patient facilities. It was while traveling that Andrew met his wife in North Carolina. After several years of marriage, Andrew and his wife were blessed with two children and decided to move to Florida to be closer to their extended family.
Andrew was introduced to PT Professionals in 2020 and found the opportunity to be a great fit to further his professional development as well as live closer to home. Andrew is very passionate about physical therapy and enjoys addressing pain related to muscle imbalances and dysfunctional movement patterns. He considers the evaluation and treatment approach to be holistic in a way that helps people connect the dots of their ailments, both past and present, to their current deficits. With continued learning, Andrew is interested in furthering his clinical skills by becoming Manual Therapy Certified (MTC) and obtaining his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification in the near future.
In his spare time, Andrew also enjoys working out in the gym, learning new ways to eat healthy, bowling, learning about new cultures, watching good quality television shows and movies, going to church and spending time with his wife and children.
