Dr. Abigail Lue PT, DPT
Abigail joined the PT Professionals team in 2026. She received her Bachelor's degree from Oregon State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a major in Kinesiology. She then attained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Northern Arizona University. During school, she had clinical experiences working with a variety of patient populations, including orthopedic, acute care, and patients with neurologic diagnoses.
Abigail grew up dancing in her hometown of Portland, Oregon, and this eventually led her to physical therapy as a patient. She experienced several injuries throughout her dance career, and physical therapy allowed her to keep going. She started shadowing her physical therapist in high school and developed a greater interest in college when she volunteered with individuals with Multiple Sclerosis.
Abigail began her career as a physical therapist in Boston, Massachusetts, working in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Through this, she has gained experience working with orthopedic, neurologic, and vestibular diagnosis. Abigail is very passionate about helping patients remain functional and helping improve their quality of life through movement and exercise. She also has an interest in public health, specifically in how external factors affect patient recovery. She has had the opportunity to write a paper and present at two conferences on these topics, which have helped her reflect on different ways to approach patient care.
When Abigail isn’t in the clinic, she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, cross-stitching, doing puzzles, and being outdoors. She is always going somewhere new, so feel free to ask her about her latest adventure!
